Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit Cobalt Auto Group is a Philadelphia company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
