Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Telecom Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
