Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Umber Farms is an agricultural business based around Cincinnati. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 356 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
