Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Cobalt Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Investigate trends in scrap and rework and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
