Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Arts Center is a cultural organisation in San Diego presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
