Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Rivermark Pine Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
