Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Stonegate Fox Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
