Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood Summit Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
