Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Stonegate Bright Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
