Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Silverline Pine Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Chicago. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
