Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Westbrook Forge Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
