Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Bright Granite Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Miami. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 818 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on scrap and rework. • Python or R for analysis.
