Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Loom Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
