Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit Cobalt Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around El Paso, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 490 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
