Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Cedar Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on food costs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
