Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Clearpath Pine Markets is a Phoenix retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
