Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Ironwood Kestrel Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 997 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
