Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Technologies provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Chicago. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on certifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
