Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Nest Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boston plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
