Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Wren Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
