Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Lantern Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
