Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Fern Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Charlotte, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
