Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Clearpath Iron Medical is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production lots and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
