Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Highbridge West Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
