Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Clearpath Basin Civic Services works with county and city offices around St. Louis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 158 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
