Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit Fern Arts Center Partners runs a venue and education programmes in Knoxville, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
