Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood Pine Financial Group is a financial-services company in Charleston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account servicing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
