Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Ironwood Vale Manufacturing · Remote · contract

Ironwood Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
