Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Redstone Hollow Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on network equipment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
