Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Ironwood Bright Water Authority Group · Remote · contract

Ironwood Bright Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Jose and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
