Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Oak Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Houston serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 227 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
