Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Linden Banking Services Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in fraud alerts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on card disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
