Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Bright Wren Telecom Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 88 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in network equipment and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
