Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around San Antonio. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 985 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
