Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Quarry Arts Center is an arts centre in Chicago with a full calendar of events, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
