Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Silverline Oak Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Wichita, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
