Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Amber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Minneapolis area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on student accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
