Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Bright Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Jackson. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in care plans and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
