Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Orchard Environmental Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
