Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight Basin Facilities Group looks after properties across the Boston region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
