Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Raleigh, NC)

Foxglove Stone Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Raleigh working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
