Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Granite Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Raleigh, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
