Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Providence, RI)

Bluepeak Kestrel Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
