Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Providence, RI)

Northwind Bright Medical is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
