Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Providence, RI)

Highbridge Sable Markets Group is a Providence retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in Providence. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
