Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Westbrook Union Hospitality Partners runs guest-focused properties across the Portland area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 253 people based in Portland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
