Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Harbor Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
