Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Vista Community Partners is a Portland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
