Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Westbrook Union Hospitality Partners is a hospitality company in Portland with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 983 people based in Portland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in reviews and feedback and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on guest bookings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
