Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Redstone Iron Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis.
